Q: What is the problem with my current IT Consultant

IT Consulting is usually accompanies by obligatory technobabble. To quote a competitor verbatim:

Quick show of hands - who understood that? Ladies and gentleman may I introduce the supplier of yet another technology offering that you paid for but don't use.
Rather than develop overly complicated simple concepts, at Cleir we deliver complex solutions in a way that you - the business - can understand and leverage use
What we do:
- Generally we build websites, or consult businesses on how to build them.
- We specialize in e-commerce sites for brick and mortar businesses - our job is to make your website an extension of your sales team - either by bringing in sales directly or by providing leads.
How we do it:
- We build using PHP, JAVA, or some combination of the two. We try to use open source products such as Joomla or Zen Cart when it is a good fit.
- We can hook up third party APIs and web services. In the past we have worked with APIs from Authorize.net, Amazon, eBay, Google, Sage, etc. We have also 'rolled our own'. This allows your small business to target new markets such as people making google searches and eBay users.
- We excel at Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing.
What makes us unique:
- We are a small Dallas, TX based group, a handful of full time coders that know each other well and collaborate regularly.
- If we give you a bid it is because we have a good description of what you want and we are able to deliver it.
- We can work with you on pricing. If you don't have 10k in your budget to build out a site (or even if you do) in many cases we will build and market at reduced cost. In return we expect to be commissioned on leads or sales delivered by the site.
